A very huge ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone who helped with the sale this year. For the past few years items have arrived in different stages of delivery. This year by Tuesday we didn’t think we would have that much merchandise to sell. By Thursday and Friday we were truly blessed. We thank everyone who worked, whether one day or all week sorting, pricing, set up and tear down.
This year we also had the opportunity to sell food – hamburgers and hot dogs, cookies and drinks. Besides this increase in sales, many folks who purchased items also were kind enough to leave a donation. Again we thank you for sharing your treasures with the men of House of Hope.
After the sale House of Hope shares whatever items are left, and this year we were able to do this with the following churches, clubs and organizations: Hope Community Church, Wildwood; New Life Center Church; Caring Hands Ministry @ First Baptist Church; Webster Elementary School, Webster; Mark Twain Library and Pinellas Library, both in The Villages; miscellaneous items for shut-ins; new and well used Christmas decorations for House of Hope and books for their new library.
