News and Happenings - House of Hope

Noveber 10th, 2019

On November 10th, our students, Executive Director, and Board members enjoyed a bowling and pizza party at Fiesta Bowl. We want to thank Stacy from Fiesta Bowl for her help and a very special thanks to Karen Miller and all those from the Helping Hands of Collier in the Villages of Collier who sponsored this event. Thank you for your ongoing support of this ministry and our students!

As we continue to search for our permanent home, we are very grateful for the temporary housing that has been made available to the ministry by Wildwood United Methodist church.

The renovation is now complete, and we invite you to view the photos of the remodeling process by clicking on on Gallery of Pictures link.

On behalf of our Executive Director, staff, Board of Directors, and especially the students; we thank you for your continued support and prayers.

As the seasons of the year change throughout the church, at jobs, activities and family life we also experience many changes at House of Hope. We have had much to be thankful for in these first months of 2019.

Our weekly car wash at the Sumter Tire location on 301 (707 S. Main St.) continues to be a great, ongoing fundraiser for the ministry and our students make the cars shine!

In March, we held our annual “Evening of Hope” Gala Dinner at Hope Lutheran church. For all those who participated and supported this evening we extend our sincere thank you.

Blessings, Pastor Malcolm Mosley, Executive Director
